The Cool City Customs 200 is under way, and Mitchell's truck is very loose. He was running in the ninth position early, but has since fought the handling of the truck. He has slipt back to just outside the top 15.
There is plenty of time left in the event. The team will have to pit for fuel and will make adjustments then.
There are roughly 26 full-time teams on the track right now. Only the truck of Jack Sprague is a lap off the field of full-time teams. He cut a tire after getting into the truck of Mike Skinner early in the race.
Rookie Scott Speed is leading the event after taking it from Todd Bodine. They have been the only two leaders thus far.
