Mitchell finishes 12th. Veteran driver Dennis Setzer just picked off Mitchell on the last lap.
Mitchell had to fight a 'sticky' gas pedal on all the restarts. The truck was much better on longer runs.
Ron Hornaday just had the field covered tonight. He beat Kyle Busch for the win. Johnny Benson was third, Jack Sprague was fourth and Todd Bodine finished fifth.
Mitchell was the highest finishing rookie in the race.
