It only took four laps before tonight's first caution came out. The truck driven by Timothy Peters was involved in his second accident of the day. He wrecked his primary truck in qualifying earlier this afternoon and now wrecks his backup.
Mitchell and the Ergon crew decided to stay out on the track for this first caution. The young driver is feeling pretty good about his ride. Mitchell reported to his crew chief Doug George that his truck is just a little "free" coming off the turns.
Mitchell is currently in the 13th position after starting 15th.
